Message from the Chairperson

Dear Stakeholders and Employees,

The Şanlıurfa Cement Factory began production in 1986 as part of the GAP with a mission to boost regional employment and drive economic growth. Today, the factory remains a vital force in the region, continuously evolving through strategic renovations and modernization efforts. As we contribute to regional progress, our unwavering commitment to creating value for our stakeholders remains at the heart of everything we do.

Limak Doğu Anadolu Cement prioritizes sustainability, development, and agility in economic, environmental, and social impact areas.

In a constantly changing world, we understand that success comes to those who adapt quickly. At Limak Doğu Anadolu Cement, we accelerate digital transformation in supply, production, and logistics. We embrace innovation, agility, and transformation not only in our work but also in our personal and professional lives.

Through our R&D and innovation efforts, we integrate technological advancements into our production process, making our operations more efficient each day. By enhancing maintenance processes, reducing energy consumption, and expanding automation, we not only boost efficiency but also seize opportunities to reach new customers and markets by broadening our product portfolio.

The fight against climate change—one of humanity’s greatest challenges—and environmental sustainability have been central to our industry for years. Through our sustainability efforts, our plant sets an example not only for the cement industry but for many other industrial organizations in the region. We prioritize recycling and the efficient use of limited resources such as water, raw materials, and energy.

In our roadmap to reduce emissions and natural resource consumption, we are exploring investment plans to increase the use of alternative fuels derived from domestic and industrial waste. We aim to make new investments in solar energy to generate electricity, planning to source 25% of our energy consumption from solar power by 2030.

The days when organizations and companies existed solely to provide economic returns to their stakeholders are long gone. The responsibilities of every organization are continuously expanding. We recognize that our responsibility extends far beyond creating economic value. We sincerely believe that, together with you, our stakeholders, we will fulfill these responsibilities and continue contributing to our country in economic, environmental, and social areas.

I extend my deepest respect to all our stakeholders who have been with us, and continue to stand by us, on this long journey.

Ebru Nur Yıldız
Chairperson of the Board
