Today, the factory remains a vital force in the region, continuously evolving through strategic renovations and modernization efforts. The fight against climate change—one of humanity’s greatest challenges—and environmental sustainability have been central to our industry for years. Through our sustainability efforts, our plant sets an example not only for the cement industry but for many other industrial organizations in the region. We prioritize recycling and the efficient use of limited resources such as water, raw materials, and energy.
In our roadmap to reduce emissions and natural resource consumption, we are exploring investment plans to increase the use of alternative fuels derived from domestic and industrial waste. We aim to make new investments in solar energy to generate electricity, planning to source 25% of our energy consumption from solar power by 2030.
The days when organizations and companies existed solely to provide economic returns to their stakeholders are long gone. The responsibilities of every organization are continuously expanding.
