Müjde Aslan graduated from Istanbul University with a degree in Economics in English in 1998 and began her career that same year at Deloitte in independent auditing. As a Partner at Deloitte, Aslan has led independent auditing, consulting, mergers and acquisitions, financial assessments, and other services for numerous domestic and international companies in the financial services sector for over 25 years. She has also served as the leader of the Insurance sector. At Deloitte, Aslan was responsible for sustainability assurance services. She has provided training on International Financial Reporting Standards and industry-specific topics to companies and regulatory authorities. Aslan holds licenses as a Certified Public Accountant and Independent Auditor from the Public Oversight Authority. Since March 2023, she has been serving as the Deputy General Manager of Finance at Sompo Sigorta, overseeing all financial processes and sustainability activities. Additionally, Aslan is a board member of the Kadın Derneği (Women’s Association) and a member of the Audit Committee of the Toplum Gönüllüleri Vakfı. She also taught Independent Auditing at Özyeğin University’s Faculty of Business from 2017 to 2020.
